Matohu 2009 Spring/Summer COLLECTION “Tsuji-ga-hana”*
Through reappeared traditional dyeing techniques call Tsugi-ga-hana, my heart was being healed looking at tender colors….
I could tell that it was highly accomplished collection hearing the volume of shutter sounds from cameras.
*Tsuji-ga-hana : one of the most important Japanese tie-dyeing created with a picture-patterned dye, drawing, and embroidery. During the 16th-17th century, Tsuji-ga-hana-zome became very popular among both men and women because of its delicate and graceful designs.
